Bianca Dye will fill in on the KIIS FM breakfast slot from May 18.Dye, 51, is best known as one of the founding presenters on Nova 96.9 in Sydney and for her recent appearance on The Golden Bachelor in 2025.Dye announced her brief stint on KIIS FM breakfast alongside Mike 'E' Etheridge on Instagram.Dye is a long-time friend of both Sandilands and Henderson, with the trio getting their start in radio at around the same time three decades ago.Dye is also friendly with the Kyle & Jackie O team which should help her settle right in.Dye recently appeared on The Kyle & Jackie O show during her time on The Golden Bachelor.The KIIS FM breakfast gig became vacant when longtime radio duo Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson sensationally fell out live on air on February 20, and the show was eventually taken off the airwaves.READ MORE: Jackie O makes a rare public appearance at Fashion WeekREAD MORE: 'Fake' Instagram page teases Kyle Sandilands' 'massive' next moveREAD MORE: 'Intern Pete' leaves KIIS FM for a new gigBoth are currently embroiled in legal action against the Australian Radio Network, the owners of KIIS FM.While in Sydney, Dye will co-host the inaugural 2026 Australian Audio Awards on May 26 with Mitch Churi who previously hosted nights on the KIIS FM network.Dye brings to the KIIS FM breakfast slot 30-years of radio experience spanning Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Central Coast, and the Illawarra.Dye hosted the morning slot on Nova from 2001 until 2006, winning four Australian Commercial Radio Awards for her work.She is the only female presenter in commercial radio to have achieved this feat.In 2007, Dye joined Tim Blackwell for afternoon drive for a final year before leaving Nova.Dye is the daughter of Australian performer Issi Dye and model Anne Dye.She began her radio career as a promotions manager and night time announcer at a radio station on Queensland's Fraser Coast in 1996, before moving to 101.3 Sea FM in Gosford on the New South Wales Central Coast where she co-hosted the station's breakfast show.Her profile rose when she began hosting a nationally networked evening show for RG Capital, originating from 92.5 Gold FM on the Gold Coast, called The Nitemix Across Australia with Bianca Dye in the late 1990s.Next came her stint on Nova where she remained until 2007 before returning to the Gold Coast for a brief period co-hosting the Hot Tomato breakfast show.In 2009, Dye relocated to the New South Wales city of Wollongong in the Illawarra to take up a job as a breakfast presenter at i98FM where she remained until 2015.Dye returned to the Gold Coast again in December 2015 to co-host 92.5 Gold FM's breakfast program over the Christmas/New Year period and joined the station as afternoon drive announcer in 2016.In early 2017, Dye replaced popular radio host Robin Bailey on 97.3 FM's breakfast program in Brisbane, remaining until 2019 when Bailey returned to the station.Dye again returned to the Gold Coast in July 2020 where she commenced co-hosting the breakfast program on Sea FM 90.9 with Ben Hannant and Dan Anstey.The show was renamed Bianca, Ben & Lakey in 2022 after Anstey left the program to join Triple M Brisbane's breakfast program and was replaced by Danny Lakey.Dye's career has spanned radio and several TV stints including hosting Access All Areas on Arena from 2000-2004, co-hosting a regional entertainment show on WIN Television, and numerous appearances on shows including Today, Nine News Now, A Current Affair and 20 to 1.Her most recent TV appearance on The Golden Bachelor saw her vying for the heart of a silver fox named Bear Myrden, but it wasn't to be.FOLLOW US ON WHATSAPP HERE: Stay across all the latest in celebrity, lifestyle and opinion via our WhatsApp channel.
